Subsidized Homr Daycare
Home daycare in Chateauguay that has opened its doors since August 2013. Amis de Nemo daycare deploys a simple activity kit that caters to the needs of small children to move, touch, explore and speak. This is a gentle activity introduction for kids with plenty of rooms for free games and daily activities. Parents receive a communication booklet that gives a monthly overview of all the practical works of their kids. A standard contract is signed in between the two parties in order to specify the conditions of work and commitments. The contract is calculated over a period of 12 months renewable each year as per request. Parents are free to process payment either by bank transfers or cheques. The opening hours are from 07:00 am to 17:00 pm. Ths Daycare has become subsidized by the Gov since Feb 2026.

Before booking a place for your kid, we are pleased to welcome you home for a visit to our Daycare. Please give us a phone call in advance for an appointment. Visits are usually scheduled after 17:00 on business days or the week-ends if available.

Person in Charge
My name is Ghizlane; a mother. I have a certificate in daycare
and another diploma related to Food Restaurant. I have been working for
different daycares CPE and I have the experience needed to keep up on my
own. I have started to run my subsidized Home daycare since August 2013.
My home daycare is located few steps from Mary Gardner Elementary School,
Trois-Source School as well as Marc André Fortier School. It became a subsidized
home daycare since Feb 2026.
Activites
Educative kit
Amis de Nemo daycare makes use of Ziraf kit , which includes a range of activities, games and DIY equipments designed for children of 18 months and over. It is a monthly delivered package, ready to be used and destined for multi-age use with varies and original themes. In addition, the kit includes creative arts-oriented art activities to facilitate kids integration..
For kids of 18 months and above (up to 5 years old).
We usually start The kits activities on September of each year til June and would be interrupted during the summer period when the children would spend most of their time outdoor in the backyard to enjoy the nice weather.
Playing is Magic
Playing is a means of interaction and development. It is considered to be the essential tool of expression and integration of the child whose first characteristic is pleasure. The development of the child affects all the dimensions of his personality whether it is physical, motor, cognitive, language or other. And since each child is unique in its developmental rhythm, the daycare has a set of various toys/games depending on the age, gender and tendency of the child.

Birthdays
As with every occasion, the daycare cannot help but share pleasant moments with kids during their birthdays by taking care of all the necessary expenses. As well, the daycare is equipped with all the clothing required for Halloween or any other holiday themes.

Healthy Food
Having an educational and training background in the catering field, children always enjoy a variety of fresh, well-balanced homemade meals, prepared from day to day. A menu is displayed on our board at the entrance with all the details.

Playground
The outdoor playground helps children to be active and healthy. This is a place where kids can run, jump, climb, slide and play with their daycare friends safely. Our daycare backyard includes a game module that includes a swing and slide, as well as several cars, playhouses and various outdoor toys.
